Introducción.

La muestra audiovisual de surf NASAS, tiene como principal objetivo conectar a creadores audiovisuales locales e internacionales, convirtiéndose en una plataforma de proyección para el talento emergente de Lanzarote y Canarias, así como en un escaparate para cortometrajes de surf de todo el mundo.

Atendiendo al significado de la palabra “NASAS”, esta muestra audiovisual busca «capturar» y visibilizar el talento local, al mismo tiempo que busca atraer cortometrajes internacionales, fomentando sinergias positivas y despertando el interés de la sociedad.

A través de NASAS, se quiere impulsar el talento local, aprovechando la relevancia del Lanzarote Quemao Class como pilar estratégico para posicionar a Lanzarote como un destino turístico deportivo de calidad. Con esta muestra audiovisual, se amplía la oferta más allá del deporte, destacando la cultura del surf, el estilo de vida de quienes lo practican y las historias de superación personal que ha inspirado en todo el mundo.

El lugar elegido para NASAS no podía ser otro que La Santa, localidad del municipio de Tinajo, un enclave donde la pesca y el surf se fusionan, creando una atmósfera con una identidad única. 

Desde hace años, este pequeño núcleo de Lanzarote se ha convertido en un hervidero de talento, no solo con grandes surfistas, sino también con fotógrafos, cineastas, editores y artistas. Sin duda, La Santa es el lugar ideal para dar inicio a este proyecto, que aspira a consolidarse en los próximos años como un acontecimiento clave para el crecimiento social y laboral de la isla.

Introduction.

The main objective of the audiovisual surf showcase NASAS is to bring together local and international audiovisual creators, becoming a projection platform for emerging talent from Lanzarote and the Canary Islands, as well as a window for short surf films from all over the world.

In keeping with the meaning of the word “NASAS”, this audiovisual exhibition seeks to “capture” and make local talent visible, while also seeking to attract international short films, fostering positive synergies and awakening the interest of society.

Through NASAS, the aim is to promote local talent, taking advantage of the relevance of the Lanzarote Quemao Class as a strategic pillar to place Lanzarote as a quality sports tourism destination. With this audiovisual display, the offer is expanded beyond the scope of the sport, highlighting the culture of surfing, the lifestyle of those who practice it and the stories of self-improvement that it has inspired around the world.

The place chosen for NASAS could not be other than La Santa, a town in the municipality of Tinajo, an enclosure where fishing and surfing merge, creating an atmosphere of unique identity. 

For years now, this small town in Lanzarote has become a hub of talent, not only with great surfers, but also with photographers, filmmakers, editors and artists. Undoubtedly, La Santa is the ideal place to launch this project, which aims to establish itself in the coming years as a key event for the social and labor growth of the island.

INSCRIPCIÓN:

  • La inscripción es gratuita.

  • Duración mínima 5 minutos.
  • Duración máxima 20 minutos.

FORMATO:

  • Se debe enviar como mínimo en formato: HD 1080p

IDIOMAS Y SUBTÍTULOS:

  • Es obligatorio el subtítulo de voces.

MÚLTIPLES PRESENTACIONES:

  • Se permite la presentación de varios cortos, para que el registro sea válido ha de presentarse una inscripción por cada uno de los cortos presentados.

OTROS REQUERIMIENTOS:

  • Los participantes deben adjuntar un cartel del corto en el formulario de inscripción.
  • En caso de disponer de tráiler o teaser, debe ser proporcionado en el formulario.

GARANTÍAS DE SELECCIÓN:

  • La presentación de un corto no garantiza su selección.
  • Quemao Class S.C se reserva el derecho de poder admitir de manera excepcional un corto que supere los 20 minutos de duración siempre y cuando lo estime conveniente.
  • Los cortos no seleccionados para la edición actual podrían ser considerados para la siguiente edición.

MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS:

  • The submission of several short films is allowed. In order for the registration to be valid, an entry must be submitted for each of the short films submitted.

FURTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Participants must attach a poster of the short film to the entry form.
  • If a trailer or teaser is available, it must be attached in the form.

SELECTION GUARANTEES:

  • The submission of a short film does not guarantee its selection.
  • Quemao Class S.C. reserves the right to exceptionally admit a short film that exceeds 20 minutes in length if it deems it appropriate.
  • Shorts not selected for the current edition may be considered for the next edition.

DELIVERY PERIOD:

  • From February 27th to May 15th, 2025.

Autorización, condiciones y declaración de permisos.

  • Declaro que todas las afirmaciones en este documento son verídicas.
  • Atestiguo que el corto presentado no está basado en un tema ilegítimo.
  • Confirmo que estoy debidamente autorizado para presentar el corto al festival.
  • Certifico que poseo todos los derechos de autor del corto.
  • En el caso de utilizar música, certifico que cuento con todas las autorizaciones necesarias para su uso.
  • Declaro disponer de todas las autorizaciones necesarias de licencias y derechos de autor de los actores o modelos que aparecen en el corto. En caso necesario, estoy dispuesto a presentar dichas autorizaciones.
  • Autorizo a QUEMAO CLASS S.C a utilizar un extracto del corto, de hasta 2 minutos, con fines promocionales de la muestra audiovisual.
  • Autorizo a QUEMAO CLASS S.C a utilizar información del corto con propósitos promocionales del festival.
  • Con el envío del corto y el formulario de inscripción, entiendo y acepto todas las condiciones de inscripción y autorización.
  • Todos los trabajos deben garantizar un uso no sexista, no homofóbico y no racista del lenguaje, actitudes e imágenes. Cumplimiento de la Ley 4/2005 para la Igualdad de Mujeres y Hombres.

Authorization, conditions and declaration of permits.

  • I declare that all statements in this document are true.
  • I attest that the submitted short film is not based on an illegitimate subject matter.
  • I confirm that I am fully authorized to submit the short film to the festival.
  • I certify that I own all copyrights to the short film.
  • In the case of using music, I certify that I have all the necessary authorizations for its use.
  • I declare that I have all necessary licensing and copyright clearances for the actors or models appearing in the short film. If necessary, I am willing to present such authorizations.
  • I authorize QUEMAO CLASS S.C. to use an excerpt of the short film, up to 2 minutes, for promotional purposes of the audiovisual showcase.
  • I authorize QUEMAO CLASS S.C. to use information from the short film for promotional purposes of the festival.
  • By submitting the short film and the registration form, I understand and accept all the conditions of registration and authorization.
  • All entries must guarantee a non-sexist, non-homophobic and non-racist use of language, attitudes and images. Compliance with Law 4/2005 for the Equality of Women and Men.
